Adding Detergent

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a lot of suds to clean laundry. In fact, using too much laundry soap can cause soil to be redeposited onto clothing. Many HE detergents are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Be sure to follow the instructions on the package. If using pods, they should be tossed in the drum before you put in your clothes. Never put pods in the detergent slot.
