Adding Detergent Avoid over soaping. ¼ cup of liquid detergent is usually all you need, but check packaging. If using a pod, place in drum NOT the dispenser, and load before adding clothing.
Loading Washer Load loose and even, about 2/3 full. Close the door when done loading. Overfilling will result in dirty clothes.
Select Temperature and/or Material Settings Check clothing and detergent labels. Many modern detergents work best in cold water. Reserve hot water use for whites and dirty linens.
Don’t Oversoap ¼ cup should be all you need, but check the detergent label. Excess soap can damage the machine, leave clothes dirty, and even leave them wet.
Using Pods Use laundry pods for a premeasured, well-balanced clean. Place pods in the washer drum before you load clothes and never in the detergent slot
Only Fill 2/3 Full Only fill machine loosely, 2/3 full. Overfilling a washer can cause clothes to not get properly clean.
