You may have overfilled the drum. Washers require space to move the clothing during the wash and spin cycles and can adjust the length of the cycle automatically. Remember, only fill the machine two-thirds of the way full for best results.
You may have used too much detergent. HE detergents are highly concentrated, so be sure to check the usage instructions. Run another cycle without soap and add fabric softener instead to help disperse excess soap from clothing
You may have over-soaped. HE detergents don’t create a lot of suds, so it’s best to follow the instructions on the packaging for proper usage amounts.
Run the cycle again, using fabric softener instead of soap in the dispenser drawer. This will help remove excess soap from the clothing.
